How to make teleconference calls
INSTRUCTIONS TELECONFERENCE 29
- 3 simultaneous teleconferences / 6 External Lines max /29 Participants max
- The system allows a maximum of 3 simultaneous Teleconferences (TC) defined Virtual Rooms (each identified by a PIN of 4 digits for every virtual room) for a total number of 29 participants. These may be either internal extensions of the switchboard EXT. or outside users (Max 6): either external lines called OC or external lines calling in IC.
- The system functions with the prefix *33 (not necessary for the PO) followed by a PIN of 4 digits (e.g. 1234)
ATTENTION:
- The TC remains in function until the last participant has not disconnected the communication (important in case of calls to external numbers since the costs continue ). To verify from a digital telephone set digit *33 and PIN.
- The telephone sets participating in the TC are excluded from other normal services/features (receiving other calls, transferring, forwarding from PO) for the whole duration of the TC.
It is advisable for the telephone set which is originating the calls does not take part in the TC in order to have the possibility of managing other eventual incoming calls or new requests
A Switchboard (PO): Can insert participants in the TC both EXT, OC or IC. Cannot participate in the TC
1a Call first number, wait for reply, request the person to hold the line
1b Press [S2] or [S3] the display will show [PrgConf] digit PIN to insert the first number

2 To insert new participants follow instructions 1a & 1b for all participants to be called
3a If a new participant has to be inserted , the PO must follow as from point 1.
3b If an incoming external participant IC wishes to participate in the TC he may be inserted after replying,
press [S2] or [S3] the display will show [PrgConf] and by digiting the PIN
B Digital Telephone sets Premium Reflexes: (class 0) Can insert EXT, OC or IC participants in TC
1a Call first number, wait for reply, request the person to hold the line
1b Digit *33 and Pin
1c Press the key with the symbol
1d Hang up or press the Liberation key
2 To insert new participants follow instructions from point 1 until all participants have been called.
3 To insert new participants follow instructions from point 1 until all participants have been called (at this
point all the participants are in the TC excluding the telephone which originated the calls)
4a To insert a new participant OC or EXT in TC hang up excluding yourself from the TC and follow from
point 1
4b To insert an IC in the TC the telephone set must not be part of the TC (otherwise you cannot receive the
call) once received the call digit *33 and PIN
C Digital Telephone sets Advanced Reflexes: (class 0) Can insert EXT, OC or IC participants in TC
1a Call first number, wait for reply, request the person to hold the line
1b Digit *33 and Pin
1c Press the key with the display showing Cfprog
1d Hang up or press the Liberation key
2 To insert new participants follow instructions from point 1 until all participants have been called (at this
point all the participanbts are in the TC excluding the telephone which originated the calls).
3 To take part in the TC press *33 and PIN
4a To insert a new participant OC or EXT in TC hang up excluding yourself from the TC and follow from
point 1
4b To insert an IC in the TC the telephone set must not be part of the TC (otherwise you cannot receive the
call) once received the call follow from point 1b
D Digital Mobile Alcatel DECT sets: (class 0) Can insert EXT, OC or IC participants in TC
1a Call first number, wait for reply, request the person to hold the line
1b Digit *33 and Pin
2 To insert new participants follow instructions from point 1 until all participants have been called (at this
point all the participanbts are in the TC excluding the telephone which originated the calls).
3 To take part in the TC press *33 and PIN
4a To insert a new participant OC or EXT in TC hang up excluding yourself from the TC and follow from
point 1
4b To insert an IC in the TC the telephone set must not be part of the TC (otherwise you cannot receive the
call) once received the call press *33 and PIN
E Mobile DECT Siemens sets: (class 0) Can insert EXT, OC, or IC participants in TC
1a Call first number, wait for reply, request the person to hold the line
1b Digit *33 and Pin
2 To insert new participants follow instructions from point 1 until all participants have been called (at this
point all the participanbts are in the TC excluding the telephone which originated the calls).
3 To take part in the TC press *33 and PIN
4a To insert a new participant OC or EXT in TC hang up excluding yourself from the TC and follow from
point 1
4b To insert an IC in the TC the telephone set must not be part of the TC (otherwise you cannot receive the
call) once received the call follow from point 1b
F Analogic/normal Telephone sets: (class 0) Can insert EXT, OC, or IC participants in TC
1a Call first number, wait for reply, request the person to hold the line

point all the participanbts are in the TC excluding the telephone which originated the calls)

Attention:
- to verify class 0 contact the switchboard operator requesting the class of the originating TC telephone set
- Remember to hang up/close all the communications once the TC has terminated otherwise the lines remain open with costs borne to ICTP.
