The ICTP Scientific Council will meet on 6-7 May. The meeting will open with an overview of ICTP's activities over the past year and plans for the next presented by Centre Director Miguel Virasoro. The Director's talk will be followed by presentations by each of the Centre's group leaders. Council Chairman Praveen Chaudhari, former Vice President for Science at IBM's Thomas J. Watson Research Centre in Yorktown Heights, New York (USA), will preside over the meeting.
