ICTP advertises grants and fellowships for scientists from developing and transition countries on its Programmes' web pages. This page provides direct links to the grants and fellowships that are currently available both internally and outside of ICTP.
External Fellowships/Grants
CNPq, one of the financing agencies of Brazil, has opened a call for fellowships for doctorate students who come from other countries in Latin America and Africa, to do their studies in Brazil. Applicants need to pass an exam of Portuguese language.
The Central European Initiative (CEI) is offering 11 post-doctoral fellowships through its CERES Research Fellowship Programme to scientists from CEI member countries to perform research at any of five science institutes in Trieste: ICTP, SISSA, ELETTRA, CBM, and ICGEB. The deadline is 31 May 2010. See the CERES website for more details.
