The annual meeting of the ICTP Steering Committee, originally scheduled for October, will now take place at the Centre on 20 November. The committee, which includes representatives from both the Italian government, the Centre's main sponsor, and the United Nations Educational, Science and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the Centre's main administrative agencies, will examine ICTP's proposed 1999 budget. It will mark the first Steering Committee meeting for ICTP's new chief administrator, John Fennessy.
